On June 17th we toured a buffalo effigy that Joely BigEagle-Kequahtooway and Lorne Kequahtooway created at Regent Park, with some support (and rocks) from TLSN member Joel Mowchenko. We then bussed out to 200 acres of native prairie at Lumsden Beach Camp (a TLSN member) for a lunch provided by our friends at the Comeback Society and land-based learning, poetry readings, storytelling, and singing with Alvin Francis, Carol Rose GoldenEagle, Tom Harrison, and Kylie Orr.
