The Meyers Sanctuary is 155 acres of native prairie with some tame grass along the South Saskatchewan River, north of the town of Leader. Mixed-grass prairie and floodplain stands are the main vegetation communities; the site used to be an acreage. Parts of this site are intact native prairie. Willow in the drainage areas and some trees in flood plain. Berries. A patch of leafy spurge was identified on the property in 2023; users should avoid the patch so as to not facilitate the weed's spread.
