Approximately 160 acres of native grassland with creeks winding through and bush throughout; 320 acres of tame grassland; 80 acres of cropland; and 80 acres of tame hay land. Beaver Creek (aka Brightwater creek runs through the area, as well as some ephemeral creeks that flood intermittently but are currently dry. Manitoba maple stands with saskatoon, chokecherry, buffalo berry, and hawthorn throughout. Wildlife includes white-tail and mule deer, elk, sharp-tailed grouse, moose, beaver, muskrat, porcupine, badger, gophers, Franklin's and 13 lined ground squirrels, weasels, and occasional mink. Please note that there are cattle grazing and electric perimeter and cross fencing that is not always easy to see.
